My Rescue was Created with One Goal in Mind
My Goal: To Save as many lives as possible, to preserve and protect the Chihuahua population and save them from the abuse and neglect that is going on here in Tucson and all over the country at this time. We save every Chihuahua possible, give them medical care when needed, give them lots of love and care, then find the perfect home that is safe and loving to adopt them out to. We always need wonderful people to adopt these rescues and give them the love they really deserve. We work very hard to ensure these little dogs the best health care and help them through stressful times. Can you help them?
Have you ever met a Chihuahua? They are the most loving companion dogs, they are smart, fun loving and playful. They have a very high capacity to love their owners, they are brave beyond their size and they will love you and stay by your side always. They are small and fragile and are not suitable for very young children due to the potential of injuries. Older children seem to work out just fine and they love to play and cuddle with their families. Having a large dog in the house where they have not grown up together may be a safety problem also larger dogs do not seem to know what these little guys are and may think they are fair game for prey. Chihuahuas seem to like small dogs and other Chihuahuas, they will not hesitate to go after a big dog to protect you and themselves, this can lead to a tragic ending for these little guys. These small dogs have been known to chase away mountain lions and will always stand their ground with any larger animal, poor little guys they have no idea how small they are!
